UPSC Advt. No 15/2017 : Advertisement for Posts of Director, Assistant Engineer, Assistant Executive Engineer, Assistant Professor(MBBS), Driller in Charge and Lecturer.

Details of Posts and Required Qualifications



  1. One Assistant Director (Chemistry), Directorate of Plant Protection, Quarantine and Storage, Faridabad, Department of Agriculture, Cooperation & Farmers Welfare, Ministry of Agriculture, Cooperation & Farmers Welfare (OBC-01).                                             QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATIONAL: M.Sc. in Agricultural Chemistry or M.Sc. in Chemistry with specialization either in Organic Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry from a recognised University / Institution.
  2. One Assistant Engineer (NQA) (Electrical Engineering), Directorate of Quality Assurance (Naval), DGQA, Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence (OBC-01).        QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATIONAL: Degree in Engineering in the discipline of Electrical/Electronic Engineering from recognised University.
  3. Two Assistant Engineer (NQA) (Mechanical Engineering), Directorate of Quality Assurance (Naval), DGQA, Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence (OBC-01, UR-01). QUALIFICATIONS ESSENTIAL: (A) EDUCATIONAL: Degree in Engineering in the disciplines of Mechanical Engineering from recognised University.
  4. Eight Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor Anatomy, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (ST-01, OBC-03, UR-04).                                                                                           QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATIONAL: (i) A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 ( 102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section(3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956(102 of 1956). (ii) Post- Graduate degree in the concerned specialty or Superspeciality mentioned in Section A of Schedule VI i.e. Master of Surgery (Anatomy); or Doctor of Medicine (Anatomy); or Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with Master of Science (Anatomy); or Master of Science (Medical Anatomy) with Doctor of Philosophy (Medical Anatomy); or Master of Science (Medical Anatomy) with Doctor of Science (Medical Anatomy).  
  5. Thirteen Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Obstetrics and Gynaecology), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (ST-01, OBC-05, UR-07).                                                  QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATIONAL: (i) A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 ( 102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section(3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956(102 of 1956). (ii) Post- Graduate degree in the concerned specialty or Super-speciality mentioned in Section A of Schedule VI i.e. Doctor of Medicine (Obstetrics and Gynaecology); or Master of Surgery (Obstetrics and Gynaecology).
  6. Three Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Ophthalmology), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (OBC-01, UR-02).                                                                                              QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATIONAL: (i) A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part-II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). (ii) Post- Graduate degree in the concerned specialty or Super-speciality mentioned in Section A of Schedule VI i.e. Master of Surgery (Ophthalmology); or Doctor of Medicine (Ophthalmology). 
  7. One Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Orthopaedics), (Sports Injury Centre), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (SC-01).                                                                                 QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATIONAL: (i) A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part-II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). ii) Post- Graduate degree in the concerned specialty or Superspeciality mentioned in Section A of Schedule VI i.e. Master of Surgery (Orthopaedics).  
  8. Two Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Paediatric Cardiology), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (UR-02).                                                                                                     QUALIFICATIONS  EDUCATIONAL: (i) A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 ( 102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section(3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956(102 of 1956). (ii) Post- Graduate degree in the concerned specialty or Superspeciality mentioned in Section A of Schedule VI i.e. Doctorate of Medicine (Paediatric Cardiology); or Doctorate of Medicine (Cardiology); or Doctor of Medicine (Paediatrics) with two years special training in Cardiology.
  9. Ten Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Radio-Therapy), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (SC-01, ST-01, OBC-04, UR- 04).                                                                     QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATIONAL: (i) A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 ( 102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). (ii) Post- Graduate degree in the concerned specialty or Super-speciality mentioned in Section-A of Schedule VI i.e. Doctor of Medicine (Radio-Therapy); or Doctor of Medicine (Radiology); or Master of Surgery (Radiology).
  10. Six Assistant Executive Engineer, Central Ground Water Board, Ministry of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation (SC-01, ST-01, OBC-01, UR-03). QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATIONAL: Degree in Drilling or Mining or Mechanical or Electrical or Civil Engineering or Degree in Petroleum Technology from a recognized University or equivalent.
  11. Five Driller-In-charge, Central Ground Water Board, Ministry of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation (SC-01, ST-01, OBC-02, UR-01).                      QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATIONAL: (i) Degree in Drilling / Mining /Mechanical / Civil/ Electrical Engineering / Petroleum Engineering from a University recognized by Govt. of India, Ministry of Human Resources Development, All India Council for Technical Education, University Grants Commission, Indira Gandhi National Open University or State Government; (ii) One year experience in operation and maintenance of drilling rigs ‘OR’ (b)(i) Diploma in Drilling / Mining / Mechanical/ Civil/ Electrical/ Petroleum Engineering from a University recognized by Govt. of India, Ministry of Human Resources Development, All India Council for Technical Education, University Grants Commission, Indira Gandhi National Open University or State Government; (ii) five years experience in operation and maintenance of drilling rigs.   
  12. One Lecturer (Electrical), Dr. B.R.Ambedkar Institute of Technology, Port Blair, Andaman & Nicobar Administration (UR-01).                                                                                  QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATIONAL: First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering. 
  13. One Lecturer (Mechanical), Dr. B.R.Ambedkar Institute of Technology, Port Blair, Andaman & Nicobar Administration (UR-01).                                                                                   QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATIONAL: First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology in Mechanical Engineering/Production Technology.
